Peninsula Behavioral Health Expands Housing Opportunities in Port Angeles with Opening of North View Community

Olympic Connect builds capacity of local resources and services to help everyone in the Olympic region get the support and care they need to thrive.
From 2024 to 2025, Olympic Community of Health (OCH) invested $819,400 into the expansion of resources and services across Clallam, Jefferson, and Kitsap counties through the Expand & Enhance Access to Social Care funding opportunity.
Through this funding opportunity, OCH provided $250,000 to support the development of Peninsula Behavioral Health’s (PBH) North View Permanent Supportive Housing community that opened at 138 W. 2nd Street in Port Angeles.
As a partner in the Olympic Connect network, PBH’s North View community expands access to supportive housing and services for people experiencing behavioral health challenges and housing instability, improving the health and well-being of people in local communities.

North View is a 36-unit Permanent Supportive Housing community designed for adults living with serious behavioral health needs who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability. It combines affordable housing with access to supportive behavioral health services that promote recovery, independence, and long-term housing stability.
The Permanent Supportive Housing community includes 7 studio apartments, 25 one-bedroom apartments, and 4 two-bedroom apartments. The four-story community also includes a community room, on-site property management, free on-site laundry facilities, utilities including broadband internet, and modern, energy-efficient and durable construction.
